Knowing a Fool Book Description The rule of ignorance that currently dominates Turkey has caused and continues to cause great wounds in our consciousness of being a society. First of all, bigotry, which has wiped out society's ability to think rationally as a group, and the revival of community life based on fear rather than thought, have deeply injured our social fabric. In addition, the chaos and poor quality created in our education is about to eliminate our ability as a society to acquire and evaluate information. The open and reckless threat to the freedom of the press, which would allow criticism of those who do all these, and the creation of an environment of free thought and discussion in society to search for the truth, and the lack of the slightest reaction from the society, causes the demolition project to not be perceived by the society and therefore cannot be eliminated. The destruction project I mentioned should not be perceived as a project of a group of malicious people to destroy Turkey. Undoubtedly, those who support those among us who manage this destruction project from outside may and probably do have such aims. However, I do not think that those who run and support this project among us (and in front of us) are fully aware of what they are doing. The resulting phenomenon, which I briefly describe as "the project", is actually a process brought about only by ignorance and stupidity. Throughout history, the fate of societies overtaken by ignorance and stupidity has always been like ours. Because the ignorant cannot contact his environment, nor can he evaluate the information about himself. If he is stupid, he cannot think about what to do with this data even if it is presented to him. The ignorant and stupid are afraid of any criticism; Because he does not know that there is a way other than the one he remembers, he cannot think that there might be a way, and he cannot evaluate it even if it is shown to him. In this case, the only thing he can do is to create social terror, that is, fear, as in Turkey today.
