Turkmenistan Tribes of the Dede Korkut Epic Book Description: This study includes 14 tribes of the Dede Korkut Epic compiled in Turkmenistan in previous years. 7 of them are the variants of the tribes in the Dresden copy described in Turkmenistan. The other 7 sizes are completely new sizes. Therefore, since the 7 tribes mentioned were not known in the Turkish world before, this publication will be a very important contribution to the subject of the Epic of Dede Korkut.Prof. Dr. Necati Demir compiled and collected the texts of the Dede Korkut Epic written in Turkmen Turkish from various sources, and then translated them into Turkey Turkish, remaining faithful to the original. The study consists of two parts: "Introduction" and "Turkmenistan Tribes of the Dede Korkut Epic". Introduction In the section, the versions of the Epic of Dede Korkut compiled and written down in Turkmenistan; It was evaluated in terms of subject, personnel, geography and Oghuz tribes.
