There is almost no field that Aristotle did not influence. This influence was either directly through his own works or through the Greek philosophers who were influenced by Aristotle. Islamic philosophy cannot be understood without fully understanding the influence of Aristotle. Despite all its importance and respect, Aristotelianism has been criticized from time to time by philosophers, theologians and scientists. However, even these criticisms could not prevent the philosophical method and logic of Aristotelianism from becoming popular and going beyond the boundaries of philosophy.
