The Museum of Innocence Book Description: Nobel Prize-winning author Orhan Pamuk's book, The Museum of Innocence, was published in 2008. Orhan Pamuk dedicated the book to his daughter Rüya. It is known that the author created this book as a result of ten years of work. The book is included in the "Best Books of 2009" list by the New York Times. After publishing The Museum of Innocence, Orhan Pamuk was inspired by this novel and launched the museum with the same name as the novel in 2012. The museum is the first city museum established in Istanbul. In addition to the objects that tell a love story that took place in Istanbul and extends from the 1970s to the 2000s, the museum contains many objects used in our daily lives since the 1950s. The Museum of Innocence was awarded the "European Museum of the Year Award" by the European Museum Forum in 2014. The book was also adapted for the big screen under the name "The Innocence of Memories" and was presented to the audience at the Venice Film Festival. The story, which started in 1975, tells the story of Kemal, the son of a wealthy family, and his love affair with his distant relative Fisun.
